Folding chairs have been widely used to seat crowds in places where permanent ones  are not practical.  A folding chair is not a comfortable seat, their use is limited in time and once folded they solve a space problem.

Our chair is conceptually opposite to the practical definition of space.  It seeks the beauty of the unfolded form. It becomes  an object and raises a little doubt about extreme functionality.
